Dethatching is the process of removing the excess thatch (dead or laid over grass) from your lawn. Doing so helps oxygen, moisture, and nutrients to reach the roots of your grass.

Core aeration is the process of poking thousands of small holes throughout your lawn. These holes reduce soil compaction which allows roots to grow deeper and sustain healthier grass. It also breaks up thatch buildup.
